WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Château Le Roc Bordeaux White hails from vines that are an average of 30 years old.
  • The soils consist of clay and limestone.

Varietal Composition: 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Muscadelle

Elaboration: The vines are harvested mechanically. Cold pre-fermentation maceration at 7°C, pressing. Cold stabilization at 4°C for 8 days. Fermentation is at 15/16°C. Maturing on fine lees for 15 days. Aging is in 100% stainless steel tanks. 6,000 cases are produced annually.

Tasting Notes: The attack is full and round on the palate with light mineral notes balanced out by a certain liveliness and grapefruit flavors, the color is pale yellow.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

Vignobles Landié, a family-owned Estate for over 30 years, independent grower who started his career as a simple winegrower selling in bulk. In the late 90s, Mr. Landié built a modern stainless-steel winery with cold storage facilities and started selling bottled wine. A big challenge that he successfully met by producing excellent value driven Bordeaux.
