Coloriages Red
WHY WE LOVE IT
- This crisp, fresh wine originates in France.
- The vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils with cool influences, where Cinsault and Merlot produce supple, indulgent, and fruity red wines.
- It is best served well chilled at 13 °C.
Varietal Composition: 100% Cinsault
Elaboration: Harvesting is carried out mechanically, followed by destemming, and then the grapes are vinified by blending musts from direct pressing and thermovinification. Fermentation takes 6 to 8 days at 24 °C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked, then aged for 6 months in concrete and stainless-steel tanks before final blending and bottling.
Tasting Notes: Pale red with bluish highlights. Vibrant expression of red berries, fresh cherry, and raspberry. Crisp and fresh on first taste, with bright fruit, fine acidity, and a thirst-quenching finish.
