Benmar Wine

Greg Bybee has over fourteen years of experience in the wine industry and believes in the potential of wines from the Pacific Northwest. He discovered his passion for wine in 2008 and moved to California, where he spent five years at Rochioli Vineyards, working in both the cellar and tasting room. During this time, he learned how world-class Pinot Noir is crafted.

Greg was also a founding member of Vivino’s e-commerce business and served as the wine curator for eight years, selecting wines for the community. This role allowed him to gain valuable insights into what wine lovers truly seek from Oregon wines, which inspired him to fully immerse himself in winemaking.

He named his venture “Benmar” after his two children, Benben and Marecca, and his wife, Jen, who is the photographer featured on the wine labels. Together, they have brought Benmar wines to the world.
