BenMarco Malbec
WHY WE LOVE IT
- BenMarco Malbec comes from Los Chacayes, a wine-producing region located within the Uco Valley.
- This area is known for its exceptional terroir. The sandy, rocky loam soil provides excellent permeability, limits plant growth, and ensures optimal ripening of the grapes.
Varietal: 100% Malbec
Elaboration: Hand-selected grapes. Destemming and soft crushing. Daily push-downs. Extended maceration for 30 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at no more than 28°C (82°F). Aged in second-use French oak barrels for 11 months.
Tasting Notes: BenMarco Malbec is a reflection of the Valle de Uco, featuring aromas of blackberries, hints of violets, a pronounced acidity, firm tannins, and a long finish.
