Birra Friuli is the culmination of high-quality American hops combined with the pristine water of Northern Italy’s spectacular Friulian Dolomites. The idea for Birra Friuli came to cofounders Alex Corazza, Emily Rose Corazza, and Patrick Fantini Corazza from enjoying American craft beer in California.
The partners set out to combine the elements of the innovative American craft beer market with the values of their region’s territory. The result is an artisanal, low-fermentation craft lager with incredible drinkability and freshness.
Birra Friuli is located in Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage village with origins going back to the Kingdom of the Lombards. It is situated at the foot of the Dolomites where the sparkling water that flows from the mountains makes the difference in this premium beer.
The Friuli-Venezia Giulia region is home to a great variety of landscapes and a rich cultural heritage of several different civilizations over the centuries. This complex quilt of landscape, history, and traditions combine to form a unique universe of contrasts. The region, famous for its fine wines, now is also known for an exceptionally fine beer.
