Tomero Cabernet Franc


  • Tomero is Bodega Vistalba’s varietal wines, made with grapes from Finca Don Antonio. They highlight the terroir of Los Arboles Tunuyán Valle de Uco.
  • The Cabernet Franc grapes were planted in 2010 in organic soil with good porosity and drainage in the first layers with presence of deep gravel.
  • The location of the vineyard is 1,020 meters above sea level.
  • Bodega Vistalba uses organic farming management practices.

Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Franc

Elaboration: High canopy with good exposed leaf surface and good ventilation of clusters through charger and python pruning. Manual harvesting. Traditional production, cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days, work on the cap carried out through pumping over and trampling. Fermentation temperature of 25°C. Aging of 20% of the wine in French oak barrels for 6 months.

Tasting Notes: Medium intensity ruby ​​red. Notes of red pepper, paprika and allspice appear well marked, which are complexed with red fruits. At the end, graphite notes appear. Sweet on the palate, with silky tannins. Good freshness and long finish.




Bodega Vistalba was founded in Mendoza in 2003 by Carlos Pulenta, third generation of a traditional winery family. He built the winery on a family farm in Vistalba Luján de Cuyo Mendoza and thus began to pour all of his experience and passion for making wine into a family project.

Today, Paula Pulenta, fourth generation of the Pulenta family, is in charge of the Winery and together with a team of professionals maintain a strong presence in countries on all continents.
