WHY WE LOVE IT
- Tomero is Bodega Vistalba’s varietal wines, made with grapes from Finca Don Antonio. They highlight the terroir of Los Arboles Tunuyán Valle de Uco.
- The terrior is shallow soil, sandy loam texture, low fertility with presence of fragmented stones.
- The vineyard was planted in 2000 and is 1,090 meters above sea level.
Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Elaboration: Drip irrigation. Traditional production, cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days, work on the cap carried out through pumping over and trampling. Fermentation Temperature 25°C. 20% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Tasting Notes: Deep purple color with reddish reflections. Notes of red fruits reminiscent of cassis, amalgamated with the typical notes of Cabernet Sauvignon of roasted pepper, sweet paprika and pink pepper. The palate it is juicy, with good structure, but with a silky and long finish.
