Tomero Chardonnay
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Tomero is Bodega Vistalba’s varietal wines, made with grapes from Finca Don Antonio. They highlight the terroir of Los Arboles Tunuyán Valle de Uco.
- The Chardonnay grapes were planted in 2006 in soil of medium depth, loamy-sandy texture with low fertility and presence of fragmented stones.
- The vineyard is 1,070 meters above sea level.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay
Elaboration: Drip irrigation. The harvest is carried out manually. The grapes are refrigerated and then selected. Pressing of destemmed grains and fermenting with selected yeasts after a two-day static deburring. Fermentation temperature of 15°C. Aging on lees for 3 months in tanks.
Tasting Notes: Faint yellow with greenish reflections. Aromas of green apple, pear and pineapple stand out. Subtle floral notes are also perceived. The mouth has a sweet and voluminous entry. Very present acidity. Harmonious and persistent finish with hints of vanilla.
