Poquito Moscato

Poquito Moscato

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • A lightly sparkling, fruity and uplifting white wine, Poquito Moscato is small in size, but big on flavour.
  • A little (375ml) bottle perfect served chilled for any celebration as a fruity alternative to dry sparkling wines. Unlike many Moscatos on the market, it has a welcome, appely acidity to balance out the sweetness.
  • Enjoy Poquito chilled as an apéritif, or if you’re feeling creative, mix with ice, lime, mint and a dash of rum to make a deliciously zesty Poquito Mojito.
  • Low in alcohol by volume at 5%

Varietal Composition: 100% Moscatel de Alejandria

Elaboration: The steady warm temperatures in the Spanish region of Valencia are perfect for the aromatic Moscatel de Alejandria grapes used in this wine. The grapes are carefully selected, crushed and very gently macerated in cold temperatures in order to extract aroma and color. Fermentation is stopped early by reducing the temperature quickly, leaving a light and fruity wine.

Tasting Notes: Intense and enticing aromas of ripe peach and grapes with delicate floral notes. Sweet on the palate with fresh fruit, honeyed flavors and a pleasing, refreshingly light finish. A fabulous aperitif and a crowd-pleaser with desserts, especially a fruit tart or a sorbet.
