Notes of brioche intermingle with quince jelly and acacia honey, supported by fresh and wonderful length.

Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay

Elaboration: Benefits from the addition of 40% reserve wines. The flagship wine of the house, produced with 100% Chardonnay. Produced from 2/3 Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Aged for 4 years.

Tasting Notes: A wine of superb freshness and minerality that charms with its astonishing complexity and length. Masterfully blended with an intense floral nose and hints of quince jelly and acacia honey.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

Brut Souverain is made up of a balanced proportion of Chardonnay, the majority from the Côte des Blancs, and Pinot Noir, mostly from the Montagne de Reims. Pinot Meunier adds a delicate fruity note. More than 25 crus are assembled, including the following village crus: Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, Aÿ, Verzy, Verzenay, Beaumont, Sillery, Mailly Champagne. The composition of Brut Souverain changes from year to year to take account of climate variations and to perpetuate House style.
