Chateau de la Cantrie
Advantageously centered in Saint Fiacre, Chateau de la Cantrie dates back to the early 1700’s and consists of 11 hectares of vines. After the unfortunate passing of proprietor Laurent Bossis in 2015, the winery was acquired by Bernard Chéreau, a figure much loved both in France and abroad for his deft hand with Mélon de Bourgogne. The domaine’s vines are planted on terraces facing the Sèvre River in the village of Saint Fiacre and the soil is mainly composed of schist. Here at Grape this has been our “go-to” Muscadet producer for over 30 years.
