WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The fruit is sourced from vineyards in an area covering 125 hectares in Anjou. This vineyard, located west of Brissac-Quincé, was acquired by the Brault family at the end of the 18th century.
  • Château de Mauny is strongly committed to sustainable agriculture and the preservation of biodiversity.
  • Drink now and in the next two years at a temperature between 6 and 9°C.

Varietal Composition: Grolleau & Chenin Blanc

Elaboration: Hand-picked. First alcoholic fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks then second fermentation in the bottle with the addition of a tirage liqueur. Aging on slats for at least 12 months.

Tasting Notes: Beautiful dress of a brilliant salmon pink. Great finesse of the bubbles. On the nose, subtle aromas of red berries such as raspberry or strawberry with a hint of redcurrant. These aromas are also found in the mouth. Very fresh and unctuous with a very nice balance.
