Château Plaisance
The Ducourt family is a winemaking family from Bordeaux who have been producing wine since 1858. The Chateau Plaisance estate, situated to the west of Montagne, on the border between the Saint-Emilion and Lalande-de-Pomerol appellations, was purchased in 1994. The terroir, with loamy-clay soils, and the gentle slopes allow for excellent natural drainage.
Château Plaisance is not a newcomer to this area: The Château was constructed in 1886. Building upon tradition and hard work Château Plaisance will always strive to make wines of exceptional quality.
