Chateau Roumieu
Château Roumieu has been in the Goyaud family since the 18th century. During this century, as well as in the 19th century, the property was often the dowry of the ladies of the family. Catherine Craveia Goyaud took over the Roumieu vineyards after the death of her father Pierre Goyaud in 1983.
The vineyard is located on the clayey limestone plateau of Haut Barsac. The terroir of Barsac brings together the most prestigious crus of the Sauternes region such as the Classified Growths Climens 1 st growth), Coutet 1 st growth) and Doisy Daëne 2 nd growth) contiguous to the property.
