Located in Pujols-sur-Ciron, between the vineyards of Sauternes and Barsac, Château Saint-Jean des Graves belongs to fifth-generation winegrower, Jean Gérard (Jerry) David. In addition to this estate, Jerry is also the owner of Château Liot in Barsac. There are 20 hectares of vineyards in Graves, 10 of which are planted to Merlot (majority), Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, and the other 10 to Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The soils are red sand and gravel on a layer of cracked limestone. Sustainable vineyard practices are adopted.
