Cuilleron Cornas Syrah “Le Cotes”
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Les Côtes is a place south of the commune of Cornas, is a hillside in the shape of an amphitheater. The soil is composed of granites and saprolites from the primary base.
- This Cuvée is from the oldest vines on the estate with a plot planted in 1911 on the place called “Les Côtes”.
- A wine for great keeping that can be kept for 10 years or more.
Varietal Composition: 100% Syrah
Tasting Notes: The nose expresses a lot of complexity and depth on black fruits, with smoky notes and tapenade. The palate is ample and expressive with a subtle balance between power and velvety. Great length on spices and minerality.
