Cuilleron IGP Viognier
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The Vernon hillside is one of the most famous localities in the commune of Condrieu.
- This very steep hillside, in the north of the appellation, laid out in terraces and facing due south, is composed of biotite granite.
- Great Condrieu for laying down, 10 years and more.
Varietal Composition: 100% Viognier
Elaboration: 18 months of aging in barrels and demi-muid.
Tasting Notes: The color is clear and pale. The nose is very expressive and complex on yellow fruits. A toasted and grilled side recalls the great whites of Burgundy. The mouth is ample and slender. The minerality of the terroir is present throughout the tasting.
