David Bruce Winery Edna Valley Chardonnay
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Edna Valley AVA is located in San Luis Obispo County. It is surrounded by volcanic mountains and cool maritime fog with rich oceanic and volcanic soils. Breezes from the Pacific Ocean and morning fog extend the growing season and makes this valley an ideal place for growing pinot noir, chardonnay, and syrah.
- Well balanced with bright acidity and mineral notes. Edna Valley Chardonnay is a fruit-forward and crisp wine with a balance of just enough creaminess to make it smooth yet dry on the pallet.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay
Tasting Notes: Nose of Meyer lemon, pineapple, mandarin orange, kumquat, fresh apricot, with hints of vanilla. Lemon pie, pineapple juice, loquat, popcorn. Well balanced with bright acidity and mineral notes on the pallet.
