Varietals: 100% Sangiovese

Elaboration: Aged 30 months. Fermentation lasts 14–15 days in 75 hl raw concrete vats at a maximum temperature of 26°C. Aging in 41 hl untoasted French oak casks for at least 24 months. Refined in a bottle for at least 6 months.

Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color with light garnet reflections. Intense aroma of ripe red fruit, combined with light floral notes of dried violets. A bouquet also enriched with spicy notes. The wine presents itself very elegantly on the palate. Its incredible freshness accompanies lively, ripe, and noble tannins, with remarkable depth and sensory richness. An excellent, persistent, and balanced finish.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

Viñas del Cénit, established in 2004, is a premium winery in the Tierra del Vino de Zamora region of Spain. Known for its red wines from ancient Tempranillo vines over 150 years old, the winery is owned by Terraselecta and emphasizes organic practices and hand-harvesting. Located on the left bank of the Duero River, Viñas del Cénit benefits from high-altitude vineyards and sandy, clay soils. The winemakers practice minimal intervention, resulting in bold, balanced wines that reflect the region’s heritage.
