The late Luc Sorin, a man Robert Parker has called “one of the most exciting winegrowers the South of France has to offer,” purchased this 14 hectacre Bandol estate in 1994, and quickly converted it to organic principles. Winemaking was clearly in Luc Sorin’s blood – He comes from an uninterrupted line of family Bandol winemaking that began in 1577. Luc collaborated with Seguin Moreau to invent the rotating barrel fermenter, a piece of equipment now routine in leading wine regions around the world. The domaine is just over a mile away from the Mediterranean Sea. Winery operations are carried on by Luc’s wife and children.
