Varietal Composition: 48% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot

Elaboration: It’s fruit comes from the Kenny Hill Estate Vineyard and the Lewis Estate Vineyard. Some of the fruit is sourced from Yellow Bird, Double Canyon, Tokar, James, and Weinbau vineyards. It is aged in 20% new French oak, 5% new American oak, 9% 2nd fill oak, 66% neutral.

Tasting Notes: Trutina opens with gorgeous aromas of dark cherry, plum, star anise and tobacco leaf. On the palate, dark fruit flavors mingle effortlessly with notes of dried apricot and espresso. Elegant, polished tannins carry the wine through a velvety and delicious finish.
