Fidélitas 4040 Red Wine
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The “forty-forty” red blend is inspired by the 4,040 acres that comprise Red Mountain, the home of Fidélitas and the unique piece of land from which they source all of their fruit.
- This Cabernet-dominant blend is referred to as their “second wine.”
- It is crafted using traditional winemaking techniques but designed to be enjoyed immediately without the need for bottle aging. Enjoy now or cellar for 10 years.
Varietal: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Mertlot, 6% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes: The aroma is of red plum, blackberry, and baking spices. The tannins are rich and plush, with a classic dusty Red Mountain finish. There are notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, and cola.
