Gruber Röschitz “By Nature” Gruner Veltliner
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The Grüner Veltliner comes from organically grown vines aged 15-50 years.
- It has a quality classification as Qualitätswein, a PDO in Germany and Austria that certifies high-quality wine from specific regions with strict standards.
- The vineyard is located at an altitude of 280 to 340 meters above sea level, and the soil composition is 80% loess and 20% primary rock.
- This wine can be enjoyed now or stored for 2 to 3 years.
Varietal: 100% Grüner Veltliner
Elaboration: Grüner Veltliner is aged for 10 weeks on its lees, followed by an additional 2 weeks on fine lees. The pressing procedure is gentle and pneumatic. Must refinement is achieved through 100% filtration using a chamber filter press. Maturation occurs in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes: Bright shining yellow with greenish tints. Fresh yellow apple, fine herbal notes. Juicy and fruity, with some white pepper, the nuances of pome fruit continue as well, delicate spicy aftertaste.
