Gruber Röschitz “By Nature” Riesling
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Gruber Röschitz “By Nature” Riesling is a crisp, dry, certified organic Austrian white wine from the cool-climate Weinviertel region, crafted with minimal intervention.
- The age of the vines ranges from 20 to 30 years.
- The vineyards are situated in and around Röschitz, characterized by granite soils at an altitude of 320 to 350 meters above sea level.
Varietal: 100% Riesling
Elaboration: Aged on yeast for four weeks and on fine yeast for twenty weeks. The pressing procedure is gentle and pneumatic, with 100% filtration using a chamber filter press. Fermentation lasted 8 days in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C.
Tasting Notes: Light yellow in color, this wine offers floral and peach aromas, with fresh flavors of apricot, lime, and peach on the palate. It’s easy-drinking and well balanced, with vibrant minerality and a lingering finish of stone fruits.
