Gruber Roschitz Gruber Veltliner By Nature Sparkling

Gruber Röschitz Grüner Veltliner “By Nature” Sparkling

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Sparkling Grüner Veltliner is a standout Austrian sparkling wine, distinguished by its unique addition of carbonic acid.
  • Grown in esteemed vineyards at altitudes of 280-340 meters around Röschitz, this wine benefits from rich, 100% loess soils that nurture exceptional fruit.
  • With vines ranging from 10 to 30 years old, each bottle is a reflection of the region — a celebration of Austrian craftsmanship.

Varietal: 100% Grüner Veltliner

Elaboration: The wine is gently pressed using whole cluster pressing techniques. It is aged on the yeast for 2 weeks and then undergoes an additional aging period on fine yeast for 2 months. The wine is completely filtered using a chamber filter press. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C for a duration of 10 days.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of freshly peeled apple, ripe pear and citrus. On the palate it is light with a refreshing sweetness.
