Heller Wines

Heller Wines is a brand of Adionis, a wine and spirit agency that represents more than 70 select estates in France and around the world. It was founded in 2018 by Quentin Heller, who specializes in wines from select estates from all the great French terroirs.

At the Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures of Angers, France, he not only earned a Master’s Degree in Viticulture and Oenology, he also met his wife, Agnès. Together, they traveled throughout Europe and finally settled in the Rhône Valley. After working for seven years as an export director, Agnès suggested that Quentin found his own business. That suggestion has gained him an international reputation.

Quentin calls Heller Wines his creative outlet and a laboratory for developing new ideas about crafting wine. For these wines, he works with trusted growers of traditional Rhône varieties. His labels include “Anarchie” and “Bonne Fortune.”

Anarchie wines are created from a single plot without sulphur and represent the raw expression of the terroir and the characteristics specific to the fruit. The soil is Miocène era clay and the climate is Mediterranean. Heller Bonne Fortune grapes come from two terroirs, one featuring sandy marls at an elevation of up to 380 meters. The other vineyard is yellow clay. These certified-organic grapes impart a fruitiness while remaining mineral and fresh.

Heller Wines’ distinctive labels are created by a talented calligrapher and street artist known as “Frakone.”
