Joleté Wines Pinot Gris
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Harvested from two of Oregon’s top old-vine vineyard sources – Olenik Vineyard (Chehalem Mountains AVA) and Lazy River Vineyard (Yamhill-Carlton AVA).
- The touch of Viognier in this wine adds some depth and wonderful aromatics to the final blend.
Varietal Composition: Mostly Pinot Gris with a splash of Viognier
Elaboration: The Joleté Pinot Gris was pressed and tank fermented, having 10% oak-fermented Olenik fruit added to the final blend for desired texture.
Tasting Notes: The resulting wine shows a natural balance of citrus, fruit, and minerality indicative of its AVA sources, with a focused acidity that drives the apricot and melon character through the finish.
