Kelley Fox Wines Freedom Hill Pinot Blanc

Kelley Fox Wines Freedom Hill Pinot Blanc

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Kelley Fox’s Freedom Hill Pinot Blanc is a highly acclaimed, dry white wine from Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
  • This Pinot Blanc comes from the esteemed Freedom Hill Vineyard in Dallas, adjacent to the Eola-Hills AVA.
  • This vineyard is owned and farmed by the Dusschee family and features well-drained Bellpine soil.

Varietal: 100% Pinot Blanc

Elaboration: After whole cluster-pressing, the juice was settled in tank for a few days before racking and then aged in neutral French oak barrels until bottling.

Tasting Notes: The color is pale spun-gold and it’s brilliantly transparent in the glass. After-the-rain minerality, juicy white peaches, the tiniest hint of sweet, warm baking spices and vanilla begin in the nose and continue through to the finish. The Freedom Hill is very detailed and smoothly textured. Bright acidity supports the fruit in the background. A serious and beautiful Pinot blanc. It’s Pinot, after all.
