King Rabbit Sauvignon Blanc
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The King Rabbit Organic Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, approachable French white wine known for its excellent value.
- This wine comes from a unique terroir in southern France, at the foot of the Montagne Noire and facing the Pyrenees.
- Influenced by oceanic conditions to the west and Mediterranean to the east, at an altitude of 50 to 500 meters.
- This organic Sauvignon Blanc comes from a clay-limestone terroir.
Varietal Composition: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Elaboration: Mechanical harvesting. After destemming and pressing, the delicate free-run juice is separated from the more concentrated press juice. The must undergoes cold static settling and is then fermented at controlled temperatures of 16 to 19°C, in accordance with organic standards. The lees are filtered and fermented separately before the wine is aged, blended, and bottled.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow with green highlights. Delicate notes of white flowers with a touch of citrus. A fresh wine that impresses with its volume and lingering finish.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
King Rabbit sources its grapes from the IGP Pays d’Oc appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon, a hilly terroir where Mediterranean, continental, and Oceanic climates meet. Cinsault and Grenache from coastal, mineral-rich soils go into the Rosé, while Malbec, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and other varietals are grown further inland — all drawn from a network of independent, organically farmed vineyards.
The brand is produced by LGI Wines, a Languedoc-based producer founded in Carcassonne in 1999 that works with grower partners across the Languedoc and Gascony regions rather than a single family estate. A team of seven winemakers oversees the range, which now ships to markets across the US, UK, and Europe.
