L.A. Cetto

Founded in 1928, L.A. Cetto is Mexico’s largest and most historic winery, producing approximately half of the country’s wine. Located in the renowned Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, it is famous for its award-winning red and white varietals, which are exported globally.

The winery was established by Don Angelo Cetto, an Italian immigrant from Trentino, Italy, who arrived in Mexico during the 1920s. He brought with him his ancestral agricultural knowledge and recognized the Valle de Guadalupe as an ideal location for viticulture. Today, with over 90 years of tradition, the estate is operated by the third generation of the Cetto family, who continue to uphold the winemaking legacy while also implementing modern cultivation techniques.
