L.A. Cetto Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The L.A. Cetto Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Privada is a robust, full-bodied red wine produced in Mexico’s Valle de Guadalupe.
  • This wine is made from selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from vineyards over 40 years old.
  • The terroir is defined by the unique, sun-drenched microclimate and mineral-rich soils that shape the wine’s bold, rich character and distinct regional personality.

Varietal Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Elaboration: Made from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it ages in French and American oak barrels after fermentation.

Tasting Notes: A Cabernet with presence: blackcurrant, violets, notes of leather and spice, enveloped in subtle hints of smoke and vanilla. Ripe tannins and a lingering finish. Deep and elegant: blackcurrant, violets, and a touch of smoke. A wine for memorable moments.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

L.A. Cetto, founded in 1928, is Mexico’s largest winery, producing about half of the country’s wine. Located in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, it is known for its award-winning red and white wines, which are exported worldwide. Established by Don Angelo Cetto, an Italian immigrant, the winery is now operated by his third-generation descendants, who blend traditional methods with modern cultivation techniques.
