L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah is a bold red wine from Baja California’s sun-soaked Guadalupe Valley. This coastal region boasts a Mediterranean microclimate and sandy loam soils, which enable the robust Petite Sirah (Durif) grapes to develop deep concentration and rich structure.
- The vines are between 18 and 25 years old.
- This Petite Sirah is recognized for its exceptional value.
Varietal Composition: 100% Petite Sirah
Elaboration: Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. The grapes are fermented for 15 days, then aged for 6 months in oak barrels, followed by another 6 months of aging in the bottle before release.
Tasting Notes: Intense plum red color, clean, bright, with a violet edge. Of great aromatic intensity, with red fruits and a herbal touch; as the temperature rises, aromas of chocolate and vanilla appear. Very pleasant on the palate, intense, fruity, complex, and balanced.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
L.A. Cetto, founded in 1928, is Mexico’s largest winery, producing about half of the country’s wine. Located in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, it is known for its award-winning red and white wines, which are exported worldwide. Established by Don Angelo Cetto, an Italian immigrant, the winery is now operated by his third-generation descendants, who blend traditional methods with modern cultivation techniques.
