La Reserve Saint Dominique Vacqueyras

La Reserve Saint Dominique Vacqueyras

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The terroir of Vacqueyras is south-facing hillsides that have more or less stony clay soil.

Varietal Composition: 70% Garnacha, 15% Syrah, 15% Cinsault

Elaboration: Tradition vinification. fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats after a short maceration period. The wine spends time in neutral oak and bottle before being released.

Tasting Notes: Brilliant ruby color. Very flattering nose of violet, peony then blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry. On aeration, we perceive notes of cinnamon, vanilla and pepper. The attack offers a nice freshness, melted in the richness of a fruity substance. The finish is long and subtle with a hint of liquorice.
