LUNAGAIA Grillo Sicilia “Agramante”
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Grillo was created in 1873 by agronomist Antonio Mendola by crossing two traditional native grapes: Catarratto and Zibibbo. It is almost exclusively planted in the Marsala area and historically is of particular importance in the production of Marsala wine.
- ‘Agramante’ is named for the king of Africa and fiercest opponent of Charlemagne in the “Orlando Furioso” epic. The label depicts Orlando at Charlemagne’s court, protecting Paris from siege.
Varietal Composition: 100% Grillo

Tasting Notes: Vibrant and Savory. Aromas of Cider Apple and Citrus Blossom, Medium bodied.
