LunaGaia Nero d'Avoloa "Chiaramontesi"

LunaGaia Nero d’Avoloa “Chiaramontesi”

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Nero d’Avola is a prominent Sicilian red wine grape variety, known for producing full-bodied wines with rich, dark fruit flavors and a touch of spice.
  • The name translates to “black of Avola,” referring to the grape’s dark color and its origin in the Sicilian town of Avola.
  • Chiaramontesi comes from the Terre Sicilliane IGT and is named for the familial dynasty in “Orlando Furioso”. Depicted on the label, Charlemagne hands Angela over to Namo di Baviera and promises her hand to the most heroic during battle.
  • This wine is organic and biodynamic, with a Demeter certification.
