Lamadrid Estate Wines
Lamadrid Estate Wines is a boutique winery in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, known for its exceptional wines. Founded in 2004 by Guillermo García Lamadrid, the estate features vineyards, including one named after his mother, Matilde, reflecting a deep family connection. The winery prioritizes quality and authenticity in its grape growing and wine production.
Situated at 1,000 meters above sea level, the vineyards benefit from sandy-silty loam soils and pure Andean water, producing wines with rich tannins and precise acidity. The estate includes three properties: Finca La Matilde (1929), Finca Lamadrid (1973), and Finca La Suiza (2004).
Specializing in high-quality, estate-grown Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Bonarda, Lamadrid focuses on organic, terroir-driven, sustainable, and minimal-intervention winemaking under Hector and Pablo Durigutti, renowned sibling winemakers.
