- Drink at 16°C.
- Age from 2019 to 2025.
Varietal Composition: 50% Grenach), 25% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah
Elaboration: Wine resulting from a traditional vinification of manual harvests of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre with a maceration of 21 days and aging in oak barrels for 18 months.
Tasting Notes: A full-bodied wine very complex and expressive on notes mixed with spices, black fruits, figs, plums, cloves, vanilla bean, mocha and roasted coffee. It is a powerful, heady, very dense, structured, fine and elegant wine but with a lot of fat and sweetness with notes of ripe fruit, cherry and cocoa, fine tannins on the finish and a very long aromatic persistence.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Mas des Flauzières is a farm which belonged to the Château d’Entrechaux in the Middle Ages. Since 1919, it has been owned and operated by the Benoît family. The old winery building near Vaison la Romaine in southern France is located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, which at 6,263 feet is called the Giant of Provence. In past Tour de France races, the mountain has provided a challenge for even the most experienced riders.
In 2002, Jérôme Benoît, following studies in agronomy and oenology, opened a wine cellar to market his wines. The property extends through several villages from Mont Ventoux to the protection of Dentelles de Montmirail – a small mountain chain. The estate has the advantage of ranging over several appellations, including Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Séguret, Ventoux, and Côtes du Rhône Villages.
