Sagemoor Estate White Blend

Sagemoor Estate “White Blend”

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The Sagemoor White is sourced from three vineyards in the White Bluffs AVA., including Dionysus 13% Semillon, Gamache 7% Sauvignon Blanc, Bacchus 80% Sauvignon Blanc.
  • The winemaker is Aryn Morell.
  • Sagemoor vineyards are certified sustainable through Sustainable WA or LIVE Certified.

Varietal: 87% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Semillon

Elaboration: Bacchus, Dionysus and Gamache vineyards receives water from the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project. The vineyard utilizes drip irrigation with sprinklers used for frost control, cooling, and occasional irrigation. This drip irrigation enables us to use Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI).

Tasting Notes: Citrus blossoms, lychee, white tea and a beautiful chalky minerality. Swirling brings up apricot and white peach with a hint of desert sage and chamomile. The palate has terrific volume and a glasslike texture. The finish is long and sophisticated with lingering of pithy citrus.
