WHY WE LOVE IT
- Stars in a Row was sourced from the Bacchus and Dionysus Vineyards in White Bluffs AVA.
- These vineyards have a Southwestern slope overlooking the Columbia River and Rattlesnakes Mountains with an elevation from 600-900 feel.
- The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines were originally planted in 1972.
- Sagemoor vineyards are certified sustainable through Sustainable WA or LIVE Certified.
Varietal: 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot
Elaboration: Bacchus and Dionysus receive water from the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project. The vineyard utilizes drip irrigation with sprinklers used for frost control, cooling, and occasional irrigation. This drip irrigation enables Sagemoor to use Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI). With RDI and soil moisture monitoring, they are able to constantly fine tune and improve quality.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of ripe dark berries with toastedwalnuts, licorice and wet earth. Full andstructured with a creamy mouthfeel andvelvety tannins. Polished and refined with aripe, dark fruit character. Lingering finish.

Sagemoor’s parent company, Allan Bros. Inc., is a multi-generational family owned and operated company with a rich history in agriculture beginning in the 1930’s in the Yakima Valley. In 2014, Allan Brothers purchased Sagemoor Vineyards from its original founders who began planting vineyards in 1972. For fifty years, Sagemoor Vineyards has provided premium wine grapes from iconic vineyards to dozens of the most renowned wineries and winemakers in Washington.
