Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir
Elaboration: Grapes were hand-harvested from select vineyards, sorted, and destemmed, with some whole clusters added for aromatic lift. Fermentation occurred in small open-top fermenters with gentle punch-downs to maintain delicacy and extract fine tannins. After pressing, the wine aged for 6 months in French oak, with a small percentage of new oak for added complexity.
Tasting Notes: Flavors of cherry liqueur, pomegranate, and cranberry mingle with earthy tones of mushroom, black tea, and crushed herbs. The nose opens with fresh red cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry, followed by layers of rose petal, orange peel, and forest floor.
