Nuiton-Beaunoy Maranges
WHY WE LOVE IT
- Nuiton Beaunoy Maranges is a red wine that reflects the unique climates of the Côte d’Or, specifically located in the three communes of Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-Lès-Maranges, and Sampigny-lès-Maranges.
- The south-to-southeast-oriented vineyards, situated at 250 meters on nutrient-rich clay-limestone soil, yield an exceptional wine.
- Adjacent to the esteemed Santenay, this wine beautifully reflects its terroir.
- It can be enjoyed now or cellared for 3 to 5 years.
Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir
Elaboration: Winemaking is done in small temperature controlled vats and involves long aging on fine lees in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: A deep cherry-red color with an intense bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, burlat and morello cherry. Gentle notes of violets and spices add structure and charm. On the palate, the wine is opulent, greedy and well-balanced, with a beautiful fruity finish.
