Nuiton Beaunoy Meursault

Nuiton-Beaunoy Meursault

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Mersault is famous for its exceptional Chardonnay wines and features a church with a pointed stone spire, set within about 390 hectares of vineyards.
  • Nuiton Beaunoy Meursault is a wine that showcases the remarkable diversity of the Côte d’Or’s climates.
  • The vines used in this wine are over 20 years old. They grow low to the ground in marl-limestone subsoil and face southeast, benefiting from optimal sunlight exposure.
  • This wine can be enjoyed now, with an aging potential of 3 to 6 years.

Varietals: 100% Chardonnay

Elaboration: The grapes are hand-harvested. Vinification involves pneumatic pressing with whole bunches, static cold settling, alcoholic fermentation, and aging in French oak barrels on fine lees.

Tasting Notes: With its golden color and silver hues, this Meursault offers aromas of white-fleshed fruits on the nose. The attack is dense, fleshy, and generous, with a very well-chiseled acidity which gives it a fresh and salivating finish.
