- Ozeki Hana Awaka is a low-alcohol, sparkling sake from Japan known for its fruity, sweet, and slightly acidic profile with a light effervescence.
- It is a sparkling sake with low alcohol. Easy drinking.
- The name translates to “sparkling flower.” The kanji of Hana Awaka: 花泡香 – Hana ”花” means flower, Awa”泡“means bubble, and Ka ”⾹“ means aroma. Fresh peach flavor bursting with every sip by its light sweetness and delicate bubbles.
- Gluten free. Sulfite free.
Composition: Sake infused with natural fruit flavors.
Elaboration: Its creation combines traditional sake brewing techniques, including rice polishing, washing, steaming, Koji creation, yeast starter, fermentation and pressing. Fruit flavors and carbonation are added. This results in an innovative, modern take on sake.

As one of Japan’s oldest and largest sake producers, Ozeki has been present in the U.S. since 1979, making it the first Japanese sake producer to brew sake locally in Hollister, California. The company is recognized for its high-quality products, which are made using highly polished rice and traditional brewing techniques.
