Rutini ‘Trumpeter’ Chardonnay
WHY WE LOVE IT
- The Rutini Wines Trumpeter Chardonnay is a fresh, medium-bodied white wine produced in the Uco Valley of Argentina, renowned for its high altitude.
- The vineyards benefit from stony, pebble-covered soils that provide excellent natural drainage and a cool mountain microclimate. This distinctive mountainous environment contributes to a fresh, well-balanced white wine with bright fruit flavors and crisp mineral characteristics.
- The wine has an aging potential of up to 2 years.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay
Elaboration: Fermentation is conducted in a temperature-controlled stainless-steel vessel. About 10% of the blend undergoes aging in French oak barrels for roughly 6 months, while the rest remains un-oaked.
Tasting Notes: Golden yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquet develops aromas that evoke ripe peaches and apples, along with tropical notes of pineapple. On the palate, its aromatic profile is confirmed, enhanced by its balance and smoothness, ensuring a pleasant experience from the first moment.
