PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Rutini Wines was founded in the early 19th century by Felipe Rutini in Ascoli Piceno, Italy. After earning his degree as a Fatore Agrario, he emigrated to the Americas, planting his first vines in Coquimbito, Mendoza, and building a winery by 1885 under the motto “Labor et perseverantia.”
For nearly a century, Rutini Wines has been synonymous with quality in Argentina, pioneering the first vineyard in the Tupungato region in 1925. In 2008, they opened a state-of-the-art winery led by renowned winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
The winery employs eco-friendly practices and has a 92% compliance rate with international environmental standards since launching its sustainability program in 2019.
