Six Peaks Blanc de Blanc
WHY WE LOVE IT
- This one of a kind Walla Walla Blanc de blanc is made with carefully sourced Chardonnay, ideal for Methodé Sparkling.
-
Clone 95 Chardonnay is known for its small clusters, neutral aromatics and early ripening. The subtle nature of clone 95 allows the enigmatic aromas from tirage to come forward.
Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay
Elaboration: The wine was fermented first, in stainless steel, and then in bottle as per the traditional method. Aged in tirage for 36 months, this wine has earned its toasty nose, bright effervescence and luscious moussé
Tasting Notes: The sparkling wine has lifted aromas of fresh backed bread and toffee. The mouthfeel is light an airy. Astral bubbles lift both the nose and palate, elevating the experience. Tastes of candied pear and bursting with natural acidity.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
John and Lynn Albin planted their first vineyard in 1981, the Laurel Vineyard located in Laurelwood AVA, OR. This estate vineyard sits atop Bald Peak, which offers a stunning panoramic view of five cascade mountains. Add up all of these peaks and you have 6 Peaks Winery. The Albin’s bring with them many decades of experience in viticulture and winemaking in the Pacific Northwest. Their second label, Lorelle, became an immediate hit when we first brought it in and we jumped at the chance to carry their original winery, Six Peaks Winery.
