Spring Seed Forget-Me-Not Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon
WHY WE LOVE IT
- A blend of two of the most delicate yet brilliantly aromatic varieties, which produces a fine effect in the glass.
- A nose of cut grass and fig leads to a balanced, middle weight palate and finishes with a crisp, fresh, lime/lemon persistence.
Varietal Composition: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon
Elaboration: It’s pretty simple stuff making this homage to a fresh Bordeaux-style white blend. Both the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes were picked at night to ensure they reach the winery nice and cool. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel to retain the gentle flavors.
Tasting Notes: Grassy/lantana characters in the Sauvignon Blanc and citrus in the Semillon.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Spring Seed Wines are made with organically grown, single vineyard grapes that express the unique characteristics of the McLaren Vale foothills. The wines are fresh, balanced and appealing. Traditional vinification and natural, minimal processing, combined with organic viticulture ensures the purity, integrity and flavor of all Spring Seed Wines. The labels are inspired by vintage flower seed packets.
The vineyard was established in the early 1970’s by Peter and Anthea Bosworth, and is now owned and run by their son Joch, who began the conversion to organic viticulture in 1995.
