St. Christopher Gewurztraminer

St. Christopher Gewurztraminer

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The St. Christopher Gewürztraminer is harvested in one of Germany’s premier wine regions, the Rheinhessen.

Varietal Composition: 100% Gewürztraminer

Elaboration: Harvested in the middle of September from 10-year-old vines. 10-day fermentation at 26 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks using select yeast.

Tasting Notes: Whiffs of apple, pear, and lemon suggest a shyer aromatic expression, but the palate of this off-dry wine is surprisingly sunny and bright. Fresh tangerine and nectarine flavors are accented by hints of caramel and bee pollen. The finish lingers on a delicately lacy sweetness.
