St. Innocent Winery Cremant d'Innocent

St. Innocent Sparkling Crémant d’Innocent

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • St Innocent Crémant is grown on Freedom Hill Vineyard. Freedom Hill is located in the foothills of the coast range 10 miles southwest of Salem, Oregon.
  • The vines were planted in 1999 and 2008 on well-drained silty clay loam.

Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Blanc

Elaboration: The vineyard has a southeast exposure at an elevation of 425’ and benefits from heat rising off the valley floor. Hills to the east protect the vines from strong coastal winds.

Tasting Notes:“There’s nothing innocent about this wine. It knows exactly what it’s doing when it lights your palate up like a pinball machine with invigorating acidity and frisky bubbles. An aroma of honeydew drizzled in lime juice is joined by wisps of vanilla and chalkboard dust. Brisk flavors of tangerine, pink grapefruit and juniper berries seal the deal.” -Michael Alberty, Wine Enthusiast.
