WHY WE LOVE IT

  • The “St. Innocent Winery Pinot Gris Rosé ‘Grauburgunder'” is a skin-contact rosé made from Pinot Gris grapes from McMinnville, Oregon.
  • It is a dry, skin-fermented wine.
  • Winemaker Mark Vlossak is inspired by German styles. “Grauburgunder” is the German name for Pinot Gris.

Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Gris

Elaboration: Winemaking involves a period of skin contact for color and flavor, followed by pressing and fermentation, resulting in a wine with a balance of acidity and fruit flavor.

Tasting Notes: A deep pink color and aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and clementine, plus a peachy or red fruit undertone.
